Porterhouse Grilled Steak is Something Special

Tonight, the night before Thanksgiving 2010 I am grilling a steak. A big fat juicy steak on the grill. It is a 20 ounce porterhouse and boy is it filled with fat and meat. During lunch I made a visit to the grocery store and as I walked past the meat section this package caught my eye and made me visit it. I walked over and bent down and saw this beautiful red meat package that was out of this world. I had to have it. Put it in the cart and went to the checkout. In about thirty minutes I will turn the grill on and cook it. I can't wait. I just love when I get a fork and knife and cut into it. When the juices come out from the inside it is really cool. I refuse to use A-1 or any of those other sauces with it, because if you have to use that stuff then you did not buy the right kind of meat. A great cut of meat should have more flavor than you can handle, and this porterhouse steak will, I can tell just by looking at it. I will be using charcoal tonight instead of the gas because I find that it gives the meat a lot more flavor. I will also turn the oven on and toss in two baked potatoes covered in foil and salt around them. Not really in the mood for any vegetables tonight, so oh well. I was going to eat light today and tonight because of the Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow with the family, but ever since that steak called me out in the store I have changed my mind. Have a great evening and until next time, Johnny.
