Just went to Jack in the Box and ordered the fish and chips off of the drive thru menu. It has been a staple fast food meal for me for over ten years now. It is a tasty food combination but has been concerning me because of the saturated fat content. It is high, very high, and I know it is, but I still eat it. Many people still eat things like this even though they know how bad it is for their health. I am at that point in my life where the Doctor wants me to think about my heart health. This is the last thing on my mind and for some reason I like to think that I am still eighteen and can do whatever I want.
There is a great sauce that goes along with them, it is the tarter sauce. I dip both the fish and the french fries in it, and this will go ahead and add on another hundred or so calories and even more saturated fat. It is really out of control when I add all of this stuff up, it must be over one thousand calories by the time it is all said and done. I love my wife and I just need to chill out on this fast food obsession that I have. Oh yeah, wanted to keep this out but it should be included, there was an oreo cookie shake that went down afterwards. As I am writing this I am realizing that this has to change or my heart is going to be in rough shape real fast. My coronary artery does not want a by pass because it just does not sound like any fun.
