Bacon Wrapped Shrimp

Ok, yesterday in the afternoon my friends and I decided to grab a drink and watch college football. It is what you are supposed to do on a Saturday afternoon. There were a lot of people there but we were still able to get a nice table with a perfect view of the big screen television. The waitress came over right when we sat down and took our drink orders, it was a mac and jack on tap for me, which is my favorite by the way, and my friends all had shots of vodka (craziness). We also ended up ordering a few appetizers too.

The appetizers we ordered were beer battered shrimp and bacon wrapped shrimp, so basically it was a shrimp afternoon. I must say that the bacon wrapped shrimp was out of this world. I don't know what it was about them that made them so good, maybe that the bacon fat just soaks right into the shrimp and the two flavors just make it taste so good, not sure? The bacon was crispy which means it was all the way cooked, it really stinks when the bacon is still raw, don't even want to give that a second of thought, although that has happened at other places.

Well, this is my shout out to the bacon wrapped shrimp and the mac and jack combo while watching college football. Today is Sunday and guess what? More football today, thinking about eating nachos with very hot peppers on top and tons of cheese.
