Pancakes in Seattle (well, actually Mercer Island)

Literally, just seconds ago I finished my last pancake of the morning. I ate three in total and they were so amazingly delicious. My wife found this new batter that tastes like something that I have never had before. I love IHOP, really love it, their breakfast is so good, my favorite is the harvest nut n grain combo and is located in Bellevue, WA. My wife's breakfast creation today can go head to head with that restaurant's meals, no problem. I am so happy right now, like a little kid again playing with my lincoln logs. She bought this weird syrup that I have never had. I grew up using the Aunt Jemima syrup. This kind was maple syrup and has a green label, sorry, but I can't remember the name. I do know there is a lot left so I will be eating it up here in the near future, hopefully tomorrow. My wife made me one fried egg and a small piece of fried ham to go along with these tasty treats. It really hit the spot today in the middle of winter. Luckily we have not had all that much snow and ice this year, as compared to the years before, but it is still cold and I miss the sun like usual. Well, I guess it is time to get to work here and enjoy the rest of the day. It should be a great rest of the day based off the breakfast. Oh yeah, the coffee was to die for! I mixed the Seattle Starbucks iced coffee with a touch of the local coffee shops brew made in the french press. Yummy.
